TENG XUE


TENG is a multidisciplinary artist developing content for ARCHITECTURE, VR, INSTALLATIONS, FILMS, experiential events and more. He has worked in different branches of art and design, with his work mainly oriented to the development of an experimental audiovisual language through a mix of SPACE, ANIMATIONS, light, VISUALS and sound. Aside from working as a visual CREATOR, he also co-founded ELIXIRT, a creative studio based in SHANGHAI and LONDON.

    I was involved in interdisciplinary research aimed at exploring the convergence of architecture, technology, and interactive
    design. Within this realm, my activities encompassed research, experimentation, and the development of interactive
    architectural systems, responsive environments, and immersive spatial experiences. I collaborated closely with experts from
    diverse artistic and technical disciplines, spanning performing arts, digital media, spatial interaction, anthropology, sociology,
    cybernetics, and cognitive neuroscience. Together, we pushed the boundaries and delved into innovative possibilities at the
    intersection of these fields.

    I actively participated in numerous interactive installations and landscape design projects, as well as international art
    competitions, including the Shanghai Urban Space Art Festival.

    Interaction and 3D Designer – OneFlipped Interaction Design Studio (Beijing & Shanghai)

    I held primary responsibility for interactive space, installation, and exhibition design. Furthermore, I spearheaded the technical
    development of innovative interactive hardware and interfaces for art installations. Noteworthy accomplishments include
    leading several large-scale art installation design projects for international light and art festivals, most of which were designed
    independently by myself and received widespread attention.

    Junior Architect – PLAT ASIA Atelier – DH Jung Studio (Beijing)

    As a designer within a team of five, I assumed responsibility for multiple cultural, public architecture, and installation design
    projects, overseeing their progression from conceptualization to detailed design stages. I also served as the lead designer for a
    Mountain View Restaurant and Anaya Beach Hotel projects during this tenure. Additionally, I played a vital role for an art center
    exterior installation design, which saw successful completion in 2020.
