As technologies like AI, virtual reality, and data identity reconstruct personal experience, the idea of “self” becomes unstable and fluid. Conceived as a cross-sensory odyssey, EIDOS dissolves the boundaries between body and image, matter and memory, sensation and thought. Curated by Yinzhe Qu and myself, and brought to life through the visionary collaboration between Spira9 Art and Indra Gallery, the exhibition assembles over 30 groundbreaking artists from around the world. Spanning painting, sculpture, digital realms, immersive installation, video, and live performance, EIDOS is a symphony of mediums in constant flux. It is the echo of form—unfixed, elusive—migrating across the tangible and intangible, threading through virtual terrains, ancestral memory, and fractured architectures of society. It peels back the layers of existence to reveal the delicate balance between solitude and connection through different textures of light and sound. Parallel invites participants to engage by their movements, transforming discrete components into a living entity resonating with and responding to human interaction. We collected sound from moments of solitude, modulated it digitally based on participants' movements in real-time and visualised it with projection mapping and lights. Inspired by artists' migration experiences, it reflects themes of cultural integration and empathy, fostering social cohesion and mutual understanding. Curated by Kaycee and myself, this three-day exhibition assembled 33 boundary-defying artists and collectives across painting, sculpture, installation, video, performance, and photography to explore the elusive moment when time cracks open and transformation becomes possible. KAIROS is not a chronology—it is a threshold. It captures the liminal instant when the world shifts, when the veil thins, and when the present demands action. Rooted in spiritual inquiry and the cyclical nature of existence, the exhibition reimagines art as ritual, as invocation, as portal. The opening performance featured Mai Nguyen Tri, whose Butoh-inspired choreography translated time into visceral movement, and Kefan Wang, a shamanic practitioner guiding audiences through a spiritual journey that blurred the line between ritual and revelation. Artists such as Eveleigh-Evans, Xiyan Chen &amp; Yinzhe Qu, and Sebastian Espejo contributed works that dissolved the distinction between the physical and metaphysical, inviting viewers into spaces where perception bends and the unseen becomes tangible. KAIROS was not merely an exhibition—it was a call to presence, a collective act of witnessing the alchemy of the moment.
